Africa's Pioneer in
Purple Tea

Since 2013, Koisagat Tea Estate has been at the forefront of purple tea cultivation — a rare, high-antioxidant variety unique to Kenya's highlands. DL Farms Kuinet was among the first in Africa to commercialise this remarkable crop.

Purple tea is grown from specially selected TRFK 306/1 cultivar plants, known for their striking anthocyanin-rich leaves. The result is a globally sought-after premium product commanding higher market value.

Pioneer since 2013 — one of Africa's earliest commercial purple tea growers.

High antioxidant value — anthocyanin content 1.5× higher than green tea.

Premium export market — commanding higher per-kg prices in EU and US markets.

TRFK 306/1 cultivar — specially selected and cultivated under strict agronomic controls.
